About Me

Hi! I’m so glad you’re here! ☺

My name’s Sarah-Dianne (just Sarah is fine!) and welcome to my humble little slice of the Internet.

(Someone please get me a Dunkin' sponsorship)

I'm an Ohio-based Jersey transplant and I have a B.A. in English Literature with a concentration in Creative Writing. Writing is my dearest passion, but I have something like stage fright when it comes to publishing any of my works. I thought that maybe starting a blog might be able to help me get over my fear and so that's how this website was created in 2014!

In the meantime, while blissfully ignoring my higher purpose in life, I've worked as a library assistant, writing tutor, art teacher, administrative assistant, publications associate, flight attendant, and more recently... a case manager for life insurance. (So basically, I don't know what I'm doing y'all.) Not sure where life will lead me next, but I like to just go with the flow.

(yep, definitely still a writer... sort of)

Always moving from place to place and job to job makes it hard for me to find anything constant in my life. That's another reason why I started this blog: it is something that can ground me and somewhere I can always return to while life continues to shuffle me around. Other things that ground me: reading YA fiction, painting with pastels, watching trashy historical dramas on Netflix, going virtual window-shopping, writing stories, and spending time with my two adorable rescue dogs, Cora (a beagle/mutt mix) and Milo (a chihuahua/energizer-bunny mix). Oh, and this isn't exactly grounding, but I love to travel when time and money allows!  (Just thought I'd throw that in there.)

And here are my two furry little troublemakers.

(Don't let their innocent faces fool you... they're crazy)

 And that's all she wrote!
For now ;)
